It has emerged that rapper Lil Scrappy was rushed to the hospital in Atlanta this past Tuesday, having undergone a serious asthma attack.
Speaking to online media outlet TMZ, Scrappy described “I damn near died. If it weren’t for my driver, mom, and rap artist, I would have been dead.”
The incident took place following a heavy night of drinking. The next morning Scrappy woke and was unable to talk and hardly able to breathe. “I felt like I was dying,” the rapper said.
Scrappy was rushed to Emory University Hospital, where he was treated and released with a “breathing machine.”
