Dicso King Mario’s Technics 1200s, which were used in his first DJ battle with Afrika Bambaattaa, are being auctioned on behalf of their latest owner, The Jazzy 5 MC’s, Mr. Freeze. Proving the indestructibility of a solid pair of Technics, these decks have stood the test of time and are in full working condition.
For those needing a history lesson, Disco King Mario is considered to be one of the originators of the early Hip Hop sound that came out of the South Bronx, along side better know DJs as Bambaataa, Kool Herc, Grandmaster Flash and Grand Wizard Theodore.
