SPIN Magazine has named Chance The Rapper as its “Rapper of the Year” for 2013.
Other rappers who featured lower in the list were Kendrick Lamar and Eminem, with Vic Mensa, Earl Sweatshirt, Mac Miller, Big Sean, Wale and J. Cole all earning an honourable mention.
Chance The Rapper also nearly took the top spot for SPIN’s album of the year, only to be pipped at the post by Kanye West‘s highly experimental “Yeezus” album.
