We’re currently taking on interns in our editorial, marketing and promotions departments. If you’ve got a background in journalism, marketing, promotions, graphic design, website design, or photography then we want to hear from you!
All positions come with exclusive access to the music and entertainment industries and look great on the CV. Internships are unpaid, but many of our past interns have gone on to become fully-salaried employees across the music industry. Our primary requirement is enthusiasm and strong work ethic – everything else can be learned! Internships typically last for a single college year, but can be extended for people who impress and deliver.

About The Departments
Editorial
Applicants for editorial internships should be strong writers, and a background in creative writing, journalism, or online publishing is a bonus. Of course, a strong interest in Hip-Hop/R’n’B/Urban music is a must. Editorial interns will assist with the research and writing of news stories, interviews, album reviews, and/or important event coverage. It’s possible interns may receive press passes to events and participate in phone or in-person interviews with Hip Hop artists, actors, athletes, models, or other cultural personalities.
Marketing & Promotions
Applicants for marketing internships should be outgoing, adventurous, and sociable. Marketing interns are often relied on to interact with the public at major Hip Hop events and represent the Rap Ireland brand at concerts, festivals, and industry conventions. General responsibilities include creating visibility for the brand, website, and social media properties and distributing marketing materials including t-shirts, stickers, flyers, mixtapes, and banners.
