Eminem Tea Total for Superbowl??

Well according to The New York Post he is. The Detroit rapper has agreed to his first endorsement deal that could see him bag a reported cool 1 million dollars for an advertising campaign that will launch in the US during this Sunday’s Super Bowl game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers that takes place at the Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas.

Early reports from The New York Post are that Eminem will appear as a Claymation puppet in an ad campaign for Lipton Brisk Tea (Soft Drink) . The ad time is one of the most battled-for TV slots during the Super Bowl and this year’s is reportedly going for 3 million dollars. The “8 mile” rapper has been busy lately, from preparing for his performance at this year’s Grammy Awards where he is up for 10 gongs, to signing rap super group Slaughterhouse and the rapper Yelawolf to Shady Records. There are also rumors floating about Hollywood that he is circling two high-profile film roles: one as a reformed ex-con in the Fox crime thriller “Random Acts of Violence” and another as a boxer in the DreamWorks drama “Southpaw”.

The Super Bowl is the highest rated TV programme in the States with over 100 million people tuning in . It makes sense to get the biggest rapper on the planet to be involved, with his latest album “Recovery” selling 3.4 million copies in the US alone and 5.7 million World wide. The New York Post reports that the ad is “very funny” and will chronicle a typical day in Mr Mathers life.
