Game to Release Mixtape Before R.E.D. Album Drops

Compton rapper Game is everywhere at the moment as the hype to his upcoming studio release the R.E.D. Album is building. But the Los Angeles boss has just announced that he will be dropping a new mixtape Hood Mornin (No Typo) on August 1st.

Game has teamed up with producer Mars of the producer/writers group 1500 Or Nothin to bring this tape together. Announcing the news, Game Tweeted;

“@the game & @MYGUYMARS dropping a mixtape right before the #redALBUM #thinkRED #screamRED #redAUGUST #augustRED”

Jumping in the following morning to confirm the good news, producer Mars Tweeted;

“So the moment you’ve all been waiting for! The title of @THEGAME mixtape prod by @MYGUYMARS “Hood Mornin (NoTypo)” drops August 1st #HOODMORNIN”

Game has worked with 1500 Or Nothin in the past on Dope Boys and Touchdown both of which were on his last studio album L.A.X. Mars is also co-executive producer along with Game for the R.E.D. Album with Pharrell as executive producer.

Game’s fourth studio album has been delayed for so long due to the usual label issues, but he has still dropped his usual bombardment of quality mixtapes, including this years classic double disc Purp & Patron. And to keep his fans and critics well oiled, he is now going to drop this mixtape a mere three weeks before R.E.D’s release date of Aug 23rd.
