GI & Costello give tribute to their friend and Street Literature bandmate Lunitic in the video for ‘Put Ur L’s Up’. Lunitic (Daniel McDonnell), who past away in 2009, was a pioneering artist in Irish Hip-hop. His work, both with the group Urban Intelligence and as a solo artist, helped pave the way for many in the Dublin scene to follow. Friends and family of the late emcee joined together to pay homage in this Tara Morgan directed video shoot.
The track originally appeared on GI & Costello’s MaryJane album released in February of this year.
