Kid Cudi Pushes Back WZRD Album

After watching Lil Wayne try his hand at a full out rock album, Kid Cudi is giving it ago with the WZRD album, which was due to be released this month but has been pushed back by a month to ensure he fully masters the album.

The Day ‘N Nite hitmaker turned his attention to the genre last year after admitting he no longer feels fulfilled writing rap verses. He founded a new rock act called Wizard, and fans expected to hear new music by the end of January, but the star’s producer Dot Da Genius has released a statement revealing they need more time to perfect the record.

“Me and Cudi have been working on our debut album and it’s almost near completion. We are in the final stages of mastering but we really had to take time and pay attention to the sonics as this is new territory for us.

“With that being said, we have decided to change the release date. We are looking roughly at Feb 28th. Y’all know how Cudi is’ and I’m the same way. Everything has to be in place and now it is

Cudi recently wrote to his fans to announce his new tattoo on his blog, where he posted a picture of it. He told fans of the tattoo, which was inspired by the rock band Pink Floyd: “New Tat . . . Love it.”
