NBA’s Tony Parker Sues W.i.P. Nightclub For $20 Million Over Drake & Chris Brown Fight

Top American basketballer Tony Parker has initiated lawsuit proceedings against W.i.P Nightclub after shards from a glass bottle lacerated his cornea during the highly publicised brawl between Drake and Chris Brown next week.

San Antonio Spurs player Tony Parker, who was caught in the middle of the chaos, has sued W.i.P. nightclub in New York City, New York for $20 million.

According to TMZ, the NBA star filed suit yesterday claiming that the club’s security were negligent for allowing the fight between the artists to occur. The star player was hit with stray shards of glass from the bottles that were thrown, which lacerated his cornea.

Parker, whose NBA career could be affected by his injury, claims that the club management knew that there was “bad blood between Drake and Brown” yet continued to supply the artists and their crews with alcohol, despite the fact that some were “visibly intoxicated.”

It is possible that Drake and Brown could be added as defendants in the suit, but Parker’s lawyer explains that he’s waiting on the results from the police investigation as well as surveillance tape before making that decision.
