Rapper Rick Ross Suffers Seizure Mid-Flight

Rick Ross suffered a seizure onboard a flight from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to Memphis earlier today.

According to reports the plane made an emergency landing when it became apparent that the rapper was in need of assistance and an onboard doctor performed CPR.

DJ Sam Sneak of Maybach Music confirmed that “The Boss” is infact recovering, tweeting: “I’m wit @rickyrozay now he good.” Reports say that neither drugs nor alcohol are the cause behind the seizure.

The Def Jam artist is due to perform at the FedExForum tonight in Memphis and the rapper tweeted that he still plans to continue with the show.

*Update*
Hiphopgame is now reporting that Ross was forced to cancel his performance after being re-admitted to hospital following a second seizure.

The rapper was said to be making his way to Memphis by private jet when the second seizure occurred. The word is that Ross is currently in stable condition in the hospital.

Obviously Ross’ return to health is the primary concern at this time. Rap Ireland would like to wish Rick a speedy recovery.
