The Game & Young Jeezy To Drop This Summer

It looks like the summer of 2011 will finally see the release of some long delayed hip-hop albums, with two big street names announcing final dates for the release of their latest studio effortss. The Game and Young Jeezy have both announced release dates for their 4th solo albums recently.

After almost two years of delays a solid release date has finally been set for The Game’s ‘R.E.D. Album’, as it is slated to hit stores on August 23rd. Game Tweeted ; Just got off a conference call with Jimmy Iovine, Aug 23rd is the release date & its like a FAT GIRL……..It won’t move!

The ‘R.E.D. Album’s first drop, ‘Red Nation’, featuring Lil Wayne, has already stirred up a frenzy with the video being banned on MTV and BET for ‘gang affiliation’. The album features production from Dr. Dre, Pharrell, Cool & Dre to name but a few.

Another heavy-weight, Young Jeezy, has announced that his two year delayed project ‘TM 103’ (Thug Motivation 103) is completed and planned for a Summer release. The Snowman Tweeted ; TM103 is done !!! The Summer will be crazy !!! July 26th is the day being mentioned for this release although Def Jam have not yet released a statement confirming the date.

It will be six years exactly since Jeezy’s first release, the classic ‘Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101’ made waves on the streets and the charts. The anticipated album’s first single ‘Ballin’ featuring Lil Wayne has already been sent to online digital retailers as of last week.
