Beanie Sigel: Jay-Z Apology was Misconstrued

At the start of June, it was reported that the long-standing feud between Beanie Sigel and Jay-Z had come to a standstill. In an interview with XXL Magazine, Beanie appeared to brush off the beef with Hov, when he stated; “Gangstas F**k up too. Whatever I felt this dude Jay did wrong to me, it can’t outweigh the one thing he did do for me – he gave me an opportunity.”

However, it appears these were not the exact sentiments to have emerged from the Broadstreet Bully’s beak. During a recent appearance on DJ Green Lantern’s “The Invasion Show” on Sirius XM, Beanie revealed that his comments were taken out of context. “We’re going to straighten this up, I never made a public apology,” explained Sigel. “I talked to somebody from a magazine and they brought that issue up. You never hear me quote say [an] apology.”

Beans was adamant that his reputation as the bully would not be blemished. He described how he attempted to get the interviewer to forgo questions about the feud. “What I said was to stop that interviewer to stop asking me those questions. Beanie Sigel is more than what me and Jay [argued over]. It was something personal.”

Sigel strengthened his stance by stating that whatever hostility he holds towards Hov,  it does not undermine his gratitude towards Jigga for the opportunity he was given over at Roc-A-Fella. Beanie is currently working on a mix-tape and and a as yet unnamed, sixth studio album.
