Draco to swap wand for mic!

Here on rapireland we pride ourselves on bringing you the most enthralling hip hop news and today we bring you news of truly magical happenings. Avert your gaze, tremble with fear for none other than Draco Malfoy is reportedly planning to launch a career as a hip hop artist, inspired not by “he whos name cannot be spoken” but by another all-powerful wraith  N-Dubz’s Dappy!

Actor Tom Felton, 23, who plays Harry’s arch nemesis in the smash hit films, has today revealed that he has clinched a record deal with an independent label.

He told The Sun newspaper: “I was thinking of doing some N-Dubz-style stuff. I am looking to get into the grime rap UK scene. I’m going to change my image – backward caps, the lot”.

He admitted that he has taken inspiration from the N-Dubz frontman, but that he couldn’t reveal too many details about his future plans, saying: “It’s still under wraps so I can’t really talk about it.”

The child actor turned global star is already a keen musician but insisted he would not be giving up his day job to launch himself onto the hip hop scene full time.

Felton was speaking before the launch of the last film in the Harry Potter franchise, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part Two, which opens at cinemas across Ireland on Friday.
