Fabolous Cancels European Tour (And Dublin Show)

fabolous rapperWe had been speculating on this for a while, and this morning official confirmation came through that NY rapper Fabolous has cancelled his Button Factory show, and indeed his entire European tour. Such a late cancellation usually reflects poor ticket sales (think Tyga), but in this case with very low profile promotion and the fact that the entire European tour got pulled, it would seem that perhaps this show was doomed from quite a distance out.

Concert promoters POD LIVE made the official announcement via their Facebook account today: “We regret to announce that Fabolous has had to postpone his entire European tour including his show at Button Factory tomorrow night. This show will be rescheduled for early 2014 and tickets will be valid for the new date but we are not yet in a position to advise the exact date. It will be at least another week before we can advise on this so refunds from point of purchase can be obtained if preferred.”

The ratio of cancelled shows to announced shows again remains highest this year in the Hip-Hop genre – unprofessional artists or apathetic fans?
