Our email inbox has been hopping this morning with fans looking for confirmation that this year’s Electric Picnic would host an epic line-up including Macklemore, Kendrick Lamar, The Roots and Wu Tang Clan.
Rap Ireland can confirm that this was a hoax, and that the artists above will not be performing at the summer festival at Stradbally Castle. It would appear a fake poster was circulated yesterday evening (April 24th), triggering the widespread rumours.
The actual line-up is distinctly absent of anything remotely Hip-Hop, with Fatboy Slim and Bjork headlining.
