The war of words is rumbling on between Wu-Tang’s RZA and the highly rated Jay Electronica over RZA’s alleged remarks regarding the intelligence of southern rappers. Jay claims that remarks made were “real ridiculous stupid, ignorant things [to say] about the South”. The comments were made during an interview were the Wu Tang originator was discussing the standard of lyrics in the south.
Coming out in response to these claims from Electronica, RZA has said he was taking about the “education level in the south.. how brothers drop out in the sixth grade” and not any rappers in particular.
That said, RZA left an undisguised warning for Jay Electronica; “If anybody got a question of what I say, they can ask me. I fear no man. I fear no MC’s talent”
