T.I Puts Pen to Paper in Prison

With less than a month to go until T.I is released from a  federal prison in Arkansas, it has emerged that the rapper has been busy working on a paper trail. T.I, whose real name is Clifford Harris, was sentenced to a year and a day in prison for felony weapons stemming from an arrest on the eve of the BET awards in October, 2007.

According to MTV’s RapFix, T.I’s Grand Hustle henchman, DJ Drama, revealed in a recent interview that he had been in contact with the incarcerated superstar;

TIP’s good, we talked via email about two weeks ago, I told him I had a record for him, he should get home in a couple of weeks; he’s ready to get back to work. I know he has a book in the works and definitely the music, expect some good records.”

The title of the T.I’s book is, as yet, unknown, but is expected to be released in mid-October. If word is to be believed, this stint in jail has not stunted the rappers creativity and T.I.P  is by no means, dead and gone.
