DJ Pauly D Confirms Talks with G-Unit

Back in April we brought you the story of the rumored  meeting between 50 Cent and reality tv star Pauly D, who was supposedly close to signing with Fiftys G-Unit Records. The story kind of fizzed out over the past few months, however, in a recent interview with XXLMag.com, the Jersey Shore star explains that he is currently structuring a three-album deal with G-Unit that will supposedly also include a Pauly D-branded headphone line.

“I would say the end of the year,” said Pauly D of the signing. “50 Cent has also been somebody I look up to. We ended up linking up and we just clicked. We hit it off immediately with the music and everything like that. So, I’m definitely gonna be working with him. There’s been talks about the album and the headphones. I’m looking forward to working with that as well.”

DJ Whoo Kid also addressed the rumor that Pauly D would be signing to G-Unit, but speculated that it was to ‘G-Note Records’. “He has new records that he wants to showcase and since 50 is doing a lot of, especially with the Hot Rod situation, he wants to broaden the horizons,” he said. “He wants to get in the club scene and what better way?”

G-Note Records is a record company that 50 formed in 2010 for Pop, Dance and R&B artists. Currently on the roster is rapper Hot Rod and R&B singer Governor. Could Dj Pauly D be the next signing to the record label?

Is it good idea for the two parties to join forces?
